What are you most proud of? I didn't give up after encountering some problems with thread tension. I went online and browsed through some kite-building sites for advice and was able to finish the bag without any more problems. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Make sure you know the characteristics of your materials. I might not have jumped in so quickly to use such a thin ripstop nylon fabric, but the thicker cuts look like they are more manageable. Next time I sew a bag for a boy I might reduce the channel measurements so there isn't the appearance of a ruffle at the top, and I didn't need a full 3/4" for the channel since I was using 1/2" nylon cording.
