Christmas Shirt

What are you most proud of? I had to work on the fit. I made the shoulders narrower and the neck larger which was a good lesson for me. I loved doing the top stitching and mixing up the fabric. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Oder the shirt pattern Pam suggested. Its a good basic pattern if your doing a mans shirt and one of the only XXL options out there. I added the extra pockets and sleeve placket from another pattern.

Q&A with Janet Berry

Pam Howard asked:
Hey Miss Janet!, That is a very special shirt, I must say!! I really like the combination of fabrics you've chosen, the details on the cuffs and pocket flaps, and the fit of the shirt on your husband. I am happy that you were pleased with the pattern, but chose to go the extra mile to add your special touches. Thanks for adding the pictures to the gallery...Well done! Pam
Janet Berry answered:
Hi Pam, Thank you for taking the time to comment. I know you must be one busy lady!
Emmely asked:
That looks very good! Is this the first shirt you ever made? I am going to use the same pattern but I'm still waiting for it to arrive.
Janet Berry answered:
I made a mans shirt in college. A long story and along time ago. Pam has lots of good tricks, enjoy!
