Q&A with Sewbizgirl

wavefour16634078 asked:
Is there currently a charity organization accepting the dresses?
Sewbizgirl answered:
I'm sure there are several. I make mine for a local church that goes to South America every fall on a medical missions trip. They ship the dresses ahead of time in the spring so they pass through customs and are there when the group gets there in the fall. Then they give them out to little girls in the villages they visit. There is an organization called Little Dresses for Africa that sends dresses to Africa. http://www.littledressesforafrica.org/blog/ You can search for others online.
diane3387021 asked:
Are you aware of any dress programs for Appalachia and similar impoverished areas in the USA.? We have much poverty in our own country. Thanks.
Sewbizgirl answered:
No I am not. Maybe you could search online and find something.
