Blue Floral Skirt

What was your source for this sewing project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Hollyburn Skirt by Sewaholic Patterns Link to website or photo www.sewaholicpatterns.com/product/1206-hollyburn-skirt What are you most proud of? I tried sewing in an invisible zipper first, but I just did not like the look (which is funny, since usually people don't like exposed zippers). Instead of being my usual lazy self and banishing the half-sewn skirt to the "future fixes" pile, I ripped that sucker out and redid it with a standard zipper. It helps that the skirt looked way too cute to abandon. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take your time. The more you try to rush the process, the more likely you are to make errors. And it ALWAYS takes more time to go back and rip out and redo mistakes than it does to just do it slowly and deliberately from the get-go.

You Can Make This

DatPixieGirl made Blue Floral Skirt with:

  • Quilter's cotton from Jimmy Bean's Wool (www.jimmybeanswool.com)
