Batjacket

What are you most proud of? This jacket looks amazing! The only hand sewing required was for the buttons. I'm also pleased that it took about ten hours from start to finish (not including the video lessons). My posture at the sewing machine is better, and I now sew with fewer pins. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Be patient. Watch the lessons first. Every tool recommended makes the process go smoother and faster. If you have a serger or second machine you can set up for zig zag stitch only on this project, it will make your life easier. I also recommend making a spare cuff or pocket flap to test out all your stitches.
