apron

What are you most proud of? I am proud of making my own patterns. If I like something, I can visioulize it and put it on tissue paper.I have taught myself how to sew. I have made all my bedspreads, curtains, table runners, christening outfits, dresses. What advice would you give someone starting this project? never be afraid to experiment. That's the fun in creating.

Q&A with lucillei1300777

cfishernj100002282476032 asked:
Where are the directions?
lucillei1300777 answered:
Dear cfishernj, I am sorry I don't have a pattern for this apron. What I can tell you is to measure from the waist down to where you want the apron , cut fabric for that length and add 6 inches to waist or top of fabric to make gathers. For the top, I measured how wide I wanted the top. I added 6" for gathers. I cut the fabric for that side and added 5/8" on all sides for seams. Put diffferent fabric on bottom and waistband. i hope this helps. Best of Luck.
