My project chair for Cynthia Bleskachek's upholstery class. I love the way it turned out! I found the antique chair at a local thrift store for $10. The seat was a flat board with really ugly and worn fabric stapled to it--no padding--but the woodwork was gorgeous and in terrific shape. To make it more comfortable. I cut out some padding from foam with an electric knife :), covered that with some dacron batting, and then covered the entire seat with new Art Deco style fabric. It only took an hour to do all that, too! I love this class!!
