PATTERN DETAILS

If you want to carry your laptop and other devices in style you may want to consider this laptop bag as your next sewing project! This bag comes with lots of extra pockets and the shape of the flap and the attached piping give this bag its character. The Working Girl laptop bag has one main compartment, which fits most 15" laptops. There are three additional slip pockets, to carry your notepad or your tablet. As an extra treat there is also a hidden 18 cm (7") zip pocket within the middle pocket which carries your keys or phone. Remove the strap due to the swivel clips and carry the bag as a sleeve instead! The pdf file comes with 18 pages of instructions, 44 pictures and 2 pattern pieces. All measurements are given in centimeters and inches. Please note that this pattern may not be republished or distributed without permission. However you are welcome to sell items made with this pattern. In this case I'd appreciate if you gave me credit as the pattern designer. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY This bag pattern uses piping, which of course is optional but I recommend making it since it adds a lot of character to this bag. Making piping is not difficult but it takes a little more time and a bit of accuracy. A piping foot is highly recommended but a zipper foot can do the job as well. You will love the result! SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 28.5 x 39 x 4.5 cm / 11.25 x 15.5 x 1.75 in (height x width x depth)

charmed Liebling - be creative!
My name is Anna and I'm a designer and seamstress living in Rochester, NY. I've always been the creative type, I like trying out all kinds of handicrafts and artwork, but I have to admit that it's actually fabric I like to work with most. After graduating I soon realized that I had to find a job where I would be able to express my creativity and to make beautiful things! That's how I decided to create my own label! Moving to the US in 2011 was just the perfect opportunity so I seized it and that was the beginning of charmed Liebling.
