Pattern Details

* Crammed with quality photographic instructions that will enable even the novice to create this lovely ensemble. You won't be left with a written list of complicated instructions that leave you in despair. Tailor-made to fit Kaye Wiggs resin dolls. This pattern fits both 43cm/17” Mei Mei body, and the taller 45cm/18” MSD body. The simple lined shift dress can be made with three ruffles or one, and once you're familiar with the pattern more ruffles can be added, and it would be easy to make a 2-ruffle dress. Likewise with the lined jacket. The long-line dress bodice has longer pieces for the lining than the outer shell, so you could use ether length to make your dress. There are styling pointers in the pattern. The PDF pattern pieces can be printed out on your computer - instructions for doing that are included. THIS SALE IS NOT FOR A PRINTED PATTERN. It is a digital download in the form of PDF files. If you’re really struggling to print out your pattern, I offer my customers the option to purchase a hard copy of the pattern - and ONLY the pattern (not the whole tutorial) for just £2.00 plus postage. This offer is only for people who have purchased this tutorial. Due to high costs of printing ink, I regret I cannot offer a printed version of this whole package. Your download, after payment, will be in both A4 format AND US Letter format. This way you can choose which format you'd prefer, the European A4, or the US Letter (USL). Included is: All the pattern pieces and photographic instructions you need for the dress and jacket for both sizes of doll. Please be advised that there are not five different PDF's in the download, only two of each in different sizes, plus the cover PDF. Contents: A) Pattern pieces PDF (US Letter format) A) Pattern pieces PDF (A4 format) B) Instructions PDF (US Letter Format) B) Instructions PDF (A4 format) C) Cover and how to print your pattern PDF. Some of the files are quite large so may take a little time to download. I hand sew all my doll clothes, and while I can’t see a reason why you shouldn’t use a sewing machine to make the garments, please just bear this in mind when you start to sew. Some tiny details will HAVE to be done by hand. CHECK OUT MY BLOG FOR REGULAR UPDATES AND PICTURES OF MY DOLL PROJECTS: http://raccoonsrags.blogspot.co.uk/ (Cut and paste the link into your browser.) DUE TO HEALTH ISSUES, I DO NOT MAKE DOLL GARMENTS TO ORDER. You are welcome to use my patterns to make your own doll clothes to sell. HOWEVER - please respect my copyright, and give credit to Raccoon’s Rags on your sale page. For example it’s okay to write “Handmade by myself, using a Raccoon’s Rags pattern” or even “adapted from a Raccoon’s Rags pattern” But not “My own design”. I always credit other artisans/designers when I use their patterns or adapt them. They did all the hard work and deserve the recognition. Many thanks and happy sewing. *
