I have always loved beautiful fabric and interesting shapes. For the last several years I have been creating original design purses, scarves, and fabric bowls using fabric that is fun as well as functional. This has allowed me to combine my passion for sewing with an appreciation of artistic influences from around the world. My most recent venture has been repurposing vintage crochet pieces and antique handkerchiefs or well-loved jeans or t-shirts into individually designed bowls, baskets, or mirrors. Born in New Jersey, I worked for several international companies in the New York area, traveling extensively in Latin America. In 1988 my husband and I moved to Pittsburgh where we raised two daughters, and I volunteered in the Pittsburgh Public Schools.
