With this sewing pattern, you'll be able to make your very own Rhine Valley Bag! You will love this bag design for its size! This is a large handbag with a very spacious main compartment plus four additional compartments/pockets. Inside there is a divided slip pocket which reaches across the whole width of the interior. It is 3D shaped to provide even more room for your essentials like keys or phone. On the front there is a large slip pocket, which is actually divided into two separate compartments by a decorative pleat. Both compartments close with a flap and a magnetic snap. The bag closes a recessed top zipper. This will look very professional on your bag but is actually not very complicated to make! Use store-bought leather handles for this bag, or simply make your own handles and attach them with four rectangular rings, the choice is yours. This project is perfect for someone with advanced basic to intermediate sewing skills. You should be familiar with the basic sewing terms and techniques. The pdf file comes with 21 pages of instructions, 56 color photographs and 5 pattern pieces. All measurements are given in centimeters and inches. Please note that this pattern may not be republished or distributed without permission. However you are welcome to sell items made with this pattern. charmed Liebling - be creative!
My name is Anna and I'm a designer and seamstress living in Rochester, NY. I've always been the creative type, I like trying out all kinds of handicrafts and artwork, but I have to admit that it's actually fabric I like to work with most. After graduating I soon realized that I had to find a job where I would be able to express my creativity and to make beautiful things! That's how I decided to create my own label! Moving to the US in 2011 was just the perfect opportunity so I seized it and that was the beginning of charmed Liebling.
