I love pigs. I have raised them, my son and now grand kids have shown them in the county stock show. They are smart, cute and stinky. But Miss Prissy Pig is not stinky. Pigs are farm animals and here in Texas, we sometimes see greased pig events at stock shows and rodeos. That is why I included them in the series of five patterns I call my Rodeo/Farm Series. I am a retired teacher, and former day care director. I am a grandmother. I live on a small farm, surrounded by larger farms with hay fields, cows, horses, dogs, cats, deer, wild turkey etc. I keep chickens. Mine are all different colors and breeds. I love them, they are great entertainment. My mother taught me to sew when I was 10. It is a life long pleasure. I have made stick horses for years. First I made them for my young son and the kids of friends. Then I made them to help my class raise money, then my son's class asked for them. Then came the Stick Horse Rodeo and I added the bulls. Along came grand kids and more fundraisers, and more but different animals joined my barnyard.
