I love a good storage solution and these fabrics bowls are ideal for lots of storage jobs around the home including fabric storage of course! Make a coordinating set for some storage in your bedroom or lounge, whip up some small ones for little trinkets & treasures on the dressing table or bedside table, or a larger size with handles for the playroom. Use one for a trash can on the cutting table or a small one as a thread catcher for your travel sewing kit, wow your guests at dinner with a fancy homemade bread basket or gift some homemade goodies in one. The possibilities are endless. Inside the pattern are lots of idea for customising your bowls by adding a feature panel, handles, pockets & straight edges PLUS the simple to use formula to make your own size. Aimed at beginners & beyond, it's a small project that you can really put your stamp on. For beginners it's a fun little project that you can experiment & play with as your skills and confidence grows, it's also a great project to practice your quilting on without the overwhelming size of a larger quilting project. For confident sewists, the maths has all been done for you, so you can just play play play! This is a 35 page PDF pattern which includes step by step instructions with colour photos. Purchase of this pattern also gives the purchaser permission to sell items made using this pattern on a small, home based scale. Credit must be given please - full details of license to sell are included in the pattern. SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Directions to make a set of nesting bowls in the following sizes : 4", 5", 6", 7", 8" & 9" Bowl size refers to the finished width, depth & height measurement of each bowl I have also included a simple to follow formula so that you can make any size bowl you like.

I have always been a bit crafty - cutting and gluing since I can remember. My real passion for sewing was sparked about 12 years ago after emigrating to Australia from the UK and buying my very own sewing machine. Up to then I’d always borrowed mum’s when I’d felt the urge to get stitchy. With a sewing machine in the house 24/7 I just wanted to sew sew sew! I’ll often be found with a cuppa by my side and needle & thread in hand doing what I love best. My eclectic style & taste see’s me flitting between the simple to the whimsy, the traditional with a modern twist to slow cooked hand stiches, from muted tones to a rainbow spectrum and beyond. A love for vintage and retro just adds to the mix and I’m never quite sure what’s going to emerge from the sewing room next! I really love the online quilting community & enjoy connecting through it by sharing projects & tutorials via my blog I have contributed projects to 2 books, Zakka Style compiled by Rashida Coleman-Hale and Sew to Swap by Chrissie Grace. Over the past few months I have released my first sewing patterns with ideas for more brewing....
