PATTERN DETAILS

I learned this technique from a friend and then wrote my own version of the tutorial. It's a super easy, super fast way to make pillowcases. I've also heard it called "Burrito" and "Taco." I originally posted this tutorial on my blog for the American Patchwork & Quilting's 1 Million Pillowcase Challenge. I made oodles of these for the Challenge, and I use this method whenever I "gift" a quilt. It makes a fabulous coordinating gift bag! Visit sewhooked.com for links to all of my tutorials and patterns. SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Makes one standard size pillowcase

Recommended with this pattern

  • 9" - 12" "bun" fabric (pillow cuff)
  • 2" - 3" "mustard" fabric (flange)
  • 24" - 26" "hot dog" fabric (body) Note: bigger pillows? Just add more to the length here!
