PATTERN DETAILS

This is such a fun and go everywhere bag. I have been using mine since the day I finished it. The straps are long so it can lay up over one shoulder and lay on the other hip. I love that when I am running after my kids, my purse isn't falling off my shoulder (It's GREAT!) Button and loop closure. There's plenty of pockets inside lining both sides of the bag. Take everything with you, and still be able to find it all! Pockets for cell phones, pens, keys, lip stick, and more. Pattern has real pictures for every step!!! Skill level - for everyone!!! SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 2 over the shoulder straps with large bag

Recommended with this pattern

  • 1 1/4 yard fabric
  • 1 1/4 yard matching fabric for lining
  • 1/2 yard matching fabric for pocket

My Taylor Made
Coming home with a shopping bag full of fabric that has no known future as of yet, is very normal in our home. My husband is very patient and supportive with my love to sew. As a child, my mom put me in sewing lessons. That was all I needed in life. I was hooked. I still remember that pair of M.C. Hammer pants that I wore everywhere. I was so proud of every tiny project I made. As soon as I could start teaching other I was ecstatic! And I continued to challenge myself and sew new things. Then I went to Ricks College (now known as BYU-Idaho) and majored in Fashion Design and Construction. Loved it! I had so much fun! This is where I learned a lot more techniques and was able to design a line of clothes. I designed and sewed my own wedding dress when I married in 2000. Loved it! After I had my second child, my daughter, I couldn't resist every frilly dress and huge bow I could find. So I started creating my own. I am having so much fun, and my kids are to. They keep coming up to me, "Mom, can you make this? (As they show me a drawn picture or start motioning with their hands.)" They are budding designers ready to shine. My husband and I now have 4 children who are my true inspiration for my patterns.
