Pattern Details

I use my tablet computer daily and carry it with me everywhere I go. I designed this Essential Tablet Cover to protect it while it travels in my handbag. Sometimes, I need to do things the old-fashioned way, so I made the cover accomodate a writing pad, and added pockets for the bits of paper I need to save: pay stubs, coupons, grocery lists, and receipts. The result: a tablet cover that works almost as hard as my tablet does! This cover is rigid and protective, but slim and fashionable--exactly what you've come to expect from a Bucklebee design. And it's so easy to sew! No tricky seams, no zippers, and the only hand sewing needed is for the button used as the closure! Twenty-two full-color photos walk you through every step, tutorial-style. Bucklebee Essential Tablet Cover is thoughtfully designed to be a beautiful accessory. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Rotary cutting. Basic machine sewing skills. SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 9 1/4 inches x 5 1/2 inches. Closed, the cover is 3/4 inch deep. The pattern includes instructions to alter the pattern to accomodate larger tablet computers

Recommended with this pattern

  • Medium-weight fabric such as canvas, denim, corduroy or ultrasuede
