This is a full-size sewing pattern for three different styles of bustle pad. A bustle pad (or pillow) is the easiest way to get that great Late Victorian shape to your skirts. Simply tie around your waist under your skirts and see a huge difference in your look! Perfect for steampunk or historical theatrical productions. This is an electronic pattern in a full size PDF that is designed to be printed on any home printer. You will then need to tape the pages together before cutting your pattern pieces. It also comes with a second PDF of full sewing instructions with step-by-step full-color photos. This pattern contains three separate patterns for three different styles of bustle pad. You can choose which one you want to make based on your figure and the look you are going for. There is the small bustle, which will give a subtle increase to the bustle area. This is good for small frames. The large bustle gives you a really prominent bustle. The tiered bustle is based on a historical design and gives a lot of lift with a lot of comfort. It's also customizable as you can make it with only two tiers if you want. The difficulty of the pattern varies by the style of bustle pad. The small bustle is extremely simple, with the large and tiered bustle being a little more complicated, but with the instructions should be pretty straightforward even for a beginning sewer. There are also options to use either ribbons or waistband as ties. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Basic Sewing SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS One Size Fits All
