Q&A with spirit2sew

Artmomma asked:
What a fun piece! I love it. I have done a doodle meditation for years. Last summer I discovered zentangles. That led me to discover free motion sewing. I am loving every minute of my new art form.
spirit2sew answered:
There is going to be an article about it in the June/July issue of QuiltingArts Magazine.
Applekrisp asked:
This is really stunning! Great job! I was wondering how long it would be before someone colored outside the
spirit2sew answered:
Thank you very much. I find myself rebelling more and more as i get older. (I just retired and am tired of following rules.)
Barbara S Quilt asked:
I really like this....but what are zentangles?
spirit2sew answered:
Sorry, I just saw this question. Zentangles, also called zendoodles are repetitive doodles drawn, or in this case, sewn inside major lines of an image. You can google the term to see many examples.
DonnaDeCourcy asked:
So beautiful! This looks like fields from a bird's eye view!
spirit2sew answered:
Thanks. I guess you are right.
