What are you most proud of? That I pieced it and then also quilted it myself. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Make sure you square up your half square triangles before you put them into pinwheels.

  • Many batik fat quarters cut into 9" squares which left a 4 x 18" strip per fat quarter. The strips I sewed into diagonal bias binding.

Thank you and have fun with it! Don't forget to sew the corners a half inch apart when you sew them on so that you have half square triangles for another project of for a border or something like that.

Thank you so much, I loved the bright colors also. If you look at the pinwheel quilt you will see what I did with the corners of the X and O blocks.
