Winnie the Pooh Baby Quilt

What are you most proud of? Taking a reasonably simple pattern and having it turn out so different from the pattern's picture. The pattern allowed me to sort of make it up as I went along, thus making it my own. I like that I was able to incorporate such appropriate quotes from Winnie the Pooh in the label, as well, which gave the quilt a related, but personal touch. What advice would you give someone starting this project? After finding the Winnie the Pooh fabric, the hardest part for me was in finding just the right border fabric to work with all the others, so I guess my advice would be to take your main fabric with you to find the perfect border fabric first. I knew I wanted green, but bought 3 different fabrics before settling on this lovely green with the stars that worked well with the little stars in the off-white fabric.

You Can Make This

Adlib made Winnie the Pooh Baby Quilt with:

  • Winnie the Pooh Day in the Park and fabrics from my stash.
