Project Description

What was your source for this quilting project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Jumb Coins Baby Quilt Link to website or photo www.modabakeshop.com/2011/12/jumbo-coins-baby-quilt.html What are you most proud of? The quilting. While the quilting is very simple, I really like how it gives the surface texture and interest. Very important when you have so many big blocks and busy prints. What advice would you give someone starting this project? A good project for beginners. I think it is a little big (58" x 58") as a baby quilt, but would be great for a toddler for nap time. Also, allows plenty of room for growing.

What you will need

  • 100% Cotton quilting fabrics and Warm and Natural batting.

Rebecca your color combinations snap in the blue sashing. Simple design but with over the top results. You'll have lots of people imitating your successful style, including me. Thanks for the inspiration and showing us the magic of this quilt. I love it.
Becca Ruch answered:
I've been working on a redesign of this quilt (with the permission of the original designer) for Quilts for Kids. They have like smaller quilts. I'll be sharing that once it is done. So far, I've only managed to make the top. I still have to quilt it and figure out the fabric requirements. Thanks for stopping by to comment.
