What are you most proud of? I'm glad I stuck with doing the ESS and all the quilting! It proved to me that the quilt will not get too "stiff" with all that thread. After washing the quilt it got lots of nice puffiness, feels soft but sturdy! I have been quilting for just over 2 years and recently getting into FMQ on my domestic machine, so this has been a great project to increase my comfort level with free-form quilting! What advice would you give someone starting this project? Just have fun with it! You may find you like the freedom of not following a particular quilting template, but just pick a few random patterns in your head and go with it! It has a Folksy quality that also is very forgiving because each block/quilt pattern can be unique and certainly does not have to be perfect!
