Too Much Pink!

Project Description

What was your inspiration? It all started with the pink tropical print, but when I put it all together it was a bit overwhelming. I tried to tone it all down with green, but I'm truly not crazy about it at all. Oh well. On to the next project.

It's really quite nice and easy to see you've invested a lot of time. My suggestion is to add a few borders using some of the pinks. The borders will distract from all of the color in the center and will help to even out. When you're finished and you still don't like it there will probably be a whole list of people waiting for a quilt gift. Don't let it become like the "Ugly Quilt" I finished for my friend and posted.
K Lee 2Strings answered:
I did spend a lot of time on it and I like the individual blocks. Your suggestion for a border is excellent. I'd been thinking of adding a narrow border of the tropical print so I'm thrilled to hear confirmation of pink on the outside from someone so skilled. I'll lay it out again and take another look.
