I'm pleased with the color choices, still playing with the center star, not exactly happy with it and will probably stack and whack the center block for more interest and movement. Well, I decided to stack the center and so I have uploaded the new photo, it's still on my design wall, not sure if I'm happy with the star points still. Just finished the block, so here it is. I decided to go with the points, I will probably fussy cut the next tips on the center star. What advice would you give someone starting this project? take your time, be precise in your sewing, she really doesn't allow room in the pattern to square up your blocks, so you need to be pretty right on. I would stitch a scant 1/4 inch seam. Lots of fun though and it's great to look at all the different blocks folks have created.
