Swoon Quilt as You Go

Project Description

What are you most proud of? That I am trying a new technique to quilt my quilt on my standard sewing machine. I am doing it as a Quilt As You Go QAYG. I filled the dogs kiddie pool today and when I was filling I thought it would be great to soak my blocks to remove the markings I made for quilting. Then I just hung them in the sunshine to dry. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Watch the lessons, print the materials and check out her website.

What you will need

  • I used the fat quarters from Camille's Happy Go Lucky line from Moda.

Your blocks are beautifully sewn, Scheri! Lovely colours! Your sewing is inspiring. Did you have to pay a lot of duty when you ordered your fabrics from the States? (I'm in Fredericton.)
