Q&A with Nicki Robinson

Carol Ann Waugh asked:
When I saw your beautiful finished piece, the background really spoke to me and now I know why. You painted it! Isn't it fulfilling to start from scratch and make something totally unique? Great job!
Nicki Robinson answered:
I really enjoyed this Carol Ann. Thank you for the inspiration. My second project is in the making :-)
rilda asked:
It is soooo beautiful. I love the way you have bled the colours together in the background. the stitches are lovely too
Nicki Robinson answered:
Thank you for you kind comments Rilda.
Pjill56 asked:
What stitch did you use for the little blue and purple "bows"?
Nicki Robinson answered:
Hi. It is called a 'sheaf stitch', it is a few parallel straight stitches with another straight stitch in the middle, at right angles, to pull them in like a wheat sheaf.
