Star of Bethlehem

What are you most proud of? Hand piecing and quilting the entire thing. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Be patient with yourself. While it takes longer to hand piece all of your quilt it is worth it. I learned so much about hand sewing from this project. It does eventually become relaxing!

You Can Make This

quiltermama made Star of Bethlehem with:

  • I used various cotton fabrics to create the star of Bethlehem pattern
  • Quilter's Dream wool batting
  • and an old top sheet for the back. I used cotton thread and a hand needle for piecing and quilting.
