Spring Table Runner & Mug Rugs

Project Description

What was your source for this quilting project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Spring Table Runner & Bonus Mug Rugs Link to website or photo http://www.craftsy.com/pattern/quilting/home-decor/spring-table-runner--bonus-mug-rugs/42762?fresh=true What are you most proud of? I made a pattern for my table runner design. The pattern making isn't getting much easier, but I do love the challenge. I'm so pleased with the little mug rugs made from corners I cut off the runner. Waste not, want not. Best of all, though, my husband absolutely loves the table runners! This is a man who didn't really "get" the whole quilt thing until I'd been quilting for many years. Though he's really come around, it still isn't easy to impress him. And ... my FMQ is coming along!! Not perfect, but definitely improving. It makes me want to dance. No, better not. I'd likely throw something out of joint. lol What advice would you give someone starting this project? Just have fun! Play with the arrangements of flowers and such. Let your imagination go and enjoy the process of making something your own.

What you will need

Q&A with K Lee 2Strings

sandrajaffa asked:
a-maz-Ing. Love it , so beautifully made must have taken ages, but so worth it
K Lee 2Strings answered:
Oh, thank you! I'm so glad you like my little runner. The sewing and applique are super easy, and even the quilting went fast. However, photographing every step of the process, making templates, and putting together the pattern did seem to take forever.
