What are you most proud of? This was the first quilt I did any free-motion quilting on- it was such a big job that I was afraid I wouldn't be able to complete the areas, but I stuck with it and after several months of working on it, it's finally at it's new home. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Looking back, I wish I had known the final dimensions of the quilt that was illustrated on the website- it took so long to finish that I got frustrated several times, and wanted to quit, but since I was making it for someone else, I couldn't give up. The blocks were easy to make; following the instructions, you make the block slightly bigger then trim to size, which was nice. I'd encourage anyone who wants to try this to make a smaller one, then add borders if you need a bigger size.
