Project

Sept BOM #3

Project Description

What are you most proud of? Circles are done! I didn't particularly enjoy this month's blocks but they are done now. What advice would you give someone starting this project? If I were to do any more drunkard's path blocks I would definitely get the templates. Now I can throw away my slightly beat-up cardboard templates!

Q&A with Darns

Pamillia asked:
Gorgeous! I really like batiks & Darns , you have really done them justice. These blocks are WOW. Thank you so much for sharing. :-)
Darns answered:
Thanks so much! Is there anything batiks can't do?
NanaJeanFL asked:
Gee Darns- I may enjoy doing these blocks after all. I'm inspired by you my friend! These look yummy enough to eat!
Darns answered:
Thanks, Jean! I found the curves to be a pain but doable.
NanaJeanFL asked:
PS- These are by far the best Sept blocks I've seen.
Darns answered:
WOW! I think after you see so many of Amy's design that anything different looks good.
Di4N4 asked:
Oh! my!! Darns, these are gorgeous! I love how you've arranged them! Butterfly and Moonrise! My favorites, so far!!
Darns answered:
Thanks a lot, Di4N4! I couldn't decide if it was a moonrise or a temple - maybe moonrise temple?
Di4N4 asked:
I'm saving this one, for sure! I think that once my red, white and black (BOLD!) project is finished, Im going to want something soothing and soft, just like this. I love your green and blue batiks... (deep sigh) :)
Darns answered:
These are my favorite colors. I would have everything I own in blues to green if I didn't stop myself.
