Reminisce Quilt

Project Description

What are you most proud of? I was worried about how the quilt would come together since the blocks were made from the stashes of eight different people. I decided to assemble the top without sashing or borders, quilted in the ditch, and added a red binding. I am so happy with how the quilt turned out. What advice would you give someone starting this project? I wanted to keep the look of this quilt scrappy and to avoid using the same print in a block twice. It would also make a beautiful quilt using coordinated fabrics.

What you will need

  • Cotton prints
  • Warm & Natural batting
  • bias binding
  • cotton thread

I wasn't sure about the red binding even when I was hand sewing it to the back. After it was finished I was so glad that I chose it.
