Quilt as You Go Urban Lattice

Project Description

What was your source for this quilting project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Quilt as You Go Urban Lattice Link to website or photo bendingpins.com/tutorials/quilt-as-you-go-urban-lattice-block/ What are you most proud of? I wrote my very first tutorial! If you try it and find errors or mistakes, please let me know! I'm making mine into a pillow cover but you could make a full size quilt if you wanted. What advice would you give someone starting this project? This is a super easy block to make, just make sure your batting is stiff enough and doesn't stretch.

Q&A with tholtz

These are super colours. So bright and cheery. Look forward to seeing the entire quilt top completed. Just lovely.
tholtz answered:
Thanks BJ! Sadly, I don't have enough of this fabric (currently) to complete a quilt top, this particular block will be a cushion cover. I can always get more fabric!
Gladys1951 asked:
Sew together I meant.
tholtz answered:
Trimming the fabric to 1/4 beyond your batting allows you to create a seam between blocks without the bulk If you catch a little batting in your seam, which is likely to happen on the other side, you can trim it away.
