Q&A with eepsers

Carol Ann Waugh asked:
This is the first project done on home dec fabric and I love it! I usually do the hand stitching before I finish a project since I don't like my knots to show but I can see a lot of French knots in your oval section in the future!
eepsers answered:
Thanks! French knots will add texture. Yes, I know I should have done the decorative hand work first, but . . . the purse is lined, and I think I can hide my knots between the layers, although the stitching will be more difficult. I thought I liked it as it was, but later I decided, no, you really need more texture!
Claudia Friedrichs asked:
So nice. Its a great Purse.
eepsers answered:
Thanks, Claudia!
Carol Ann Waugh asked:
Wow. What a difference a little hand work and beading can make. Love it!
eepsers answered:
Thanks, Carol! AND I learned I really enjoyed both the hand work and the beading!
Eklectika Ann asked:
Eepsers! I've been browsing your posted projects ~ MY but you're prolific! Love this lil' purse project....and I hope you use it proudly. This is a small project to get practice on....just up my alley. Do you have a link to this pattern?
eepsers answered:
The wonky tiles FMQ motif is one I got from a book by Angela Walters. Love it--lots easier than it looks!
