Project

Placemats with coordinating Napkins

What are you most proud of? Adapting a table runner design into a placemat. What advice would you give someone starting this project? If you cloose to use batting instead of fusible fleece you need to quilt the placemat. I recommend either using SITD on just the diagonal seams or just placing two or three tack stitches along the center seam.

You Can Make This

Loonwatcher made Placemats with coordinating Napkins with:

  • Cotton fabric (striped for the placemat top) and fusible fleece.

Q&A with Loonwatcher

annieeee asked:
very nice
Loonwatcher answered:
Thank you. I wish I could take better photos. These don't do the fabric justice.
hyhope24856@yahoo.com asked:
Beautiful Where did you get the fabric? I love it and would like to get some.
Loonwatcher answered:
Thank you. I got it at my local quilt shop and it was a sale, discontinued fabric. I don't even know the manufacturer. Sorry.
hyhope24856@yahoo.com asked:
Do you have a pattern?
Loonwatcher answered:
No, I took a class. It's a 60 degree angle.
