Negative Space Practice

What are you most proud of? I did this piece on my DHM instead of the longarm and I was pleased with the control that I had doing it this way. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Keep practicing, it does get better. Also get some perspective. Stand back at least 6 feet and look at your piece once it is done and you won't see the wobbles and bobbles.

You Can Make This

  • Pieced quilt top that included some preprinted panel strips. I used bleached muslin for the backing
  • Warm and Natural Batting
  • and So Fine #50 Thread by Superior Threads.
