My first bed sized quilt

What are you most proud of? It was my first large quilt, before I had the machine quilting frame, so quilting it on my old singer (just simple "in the ditch") was challenging ... how to get all that bulk through the machine? My husband helped me roll it up and helped pull it through as I sewed the thicker parts. This is also before I discovered the walking foot, so keeping the back from puckering was a challenge. It's not perfect by any means, but I love the colors and pattern and my mom was really surprised - she had no idea I was making her a quilt! :-) What advice would you give someone starting this project? Patience and just do the best you can.

You Can Make This
