Q&A with WannagoSDM

Cindy Needham asked:
Oooooohhhh myyyyyyyy....you just gave me bumps!!! This is stunning...your first one???? Congratulations!!! :)
WannagoSDM answered:
I have been admiring your work for years, Cindy. Your Craftsy classes made all the difference for me. I am now a vintage linen junkie....my creative juices are really flowing. THANK YOU!
Vimla Govender asked:
I love your linen mat where did you purchase it from?
WannagoSDM answered:
EBay...it was one of a set of 4 placemats. 3 left.
Laura v asked:
what fabric did you use as your background? it matches nicely.
WannagoSDM answered:
In happened to find a linen/cotton blend that matched the bridgework really well. Personally, not my favorite color, but I really like the way it turned out. I have 3 of these placemats left, and my next practice piece (the first on I did on my longarm, the next will be done using my regular machine) will be using a lighter cotton fabric...then I want to try a batik.
Quiltingrosebud asked:
I really like this. Until I saw your project I had no desire to take this class. I have a cut work tablecloth my mother made over 60 years ago. Using this method, I can give it new life. Thank you for sharing your project.
WannagoSDM answered:
That is the BEST complement I could receive! Thank you so much. I hope you enjoy your tablecloth project as much as. I enjoy this...be sure to upload a photo when it is done. I am working on a table runner now, and have 2 small tablecloth projects in the planning/marking stage. I am a linen quilter junkie now.
