Q&A with AlyxRansom

quiltsandhearts asked:
Beautiful dragonfly!
AlyxRansom answered:
Thanks -- I tried several different wing configurations before settling on this one -- I'm very happy with this. Now it's on to the second April hexie block. I'm just a smidge behind. ;-)
NanaJeanFL asked:
Wow Alyx! This is phenomenal. From the fabric selection to the compostion and the hexis you've done it all. I LOVE this. Your work just keeps getting better and better. You can sure be proud of this one.
AlyxRansom answered:
Thanks so much NewbieJean. Coming from you that means a lot!
shazdove asked:
Love your dragon fly, well done
AlyxRansom answered:
Thanks! I like it, too! This is the hardest block I've done so far.
Cuddly Quilter asked:
What a beautiful idea.
AlyxRansom answered:
Thanks. Someone else in this BOM did a super cute dragonfly a while ago -- I meant to give her credit for the idea, but I can't remember who it was! Darn. (So... thank you out there!) ;-)
tova dian dean asked:
Simple and clever!
AlyxRansom answered:
Thanks. You must be a *real* quilter. (I'm a "totally new" quilter, and this is the most difficult block I've done so far.
