Project

Mom @ 50

What are you most proud of? I'm proud of myself for getting the sketch right. Boy are faces hard to do! I had to omit the glasses and reflection they gave off (it was just too much for a novice like me). I really enjoyed the coloring. I had to go back and add color to the skin. Hooray for the kids' Crayolas. The more colors available for mixing the better. What advice would you give someone starting this project? I'd never made a quilt of any type before and this project made it small and manageable. I would say just practice color mixing first and the rest will fall into place!
