May BOM 2

Project Description

What are you most proud of? I found this quite a therapeutic block to make - it's very satisfying to use up lots of those scraps you thought you'd never use. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Enjoy - you can't go wrong with this one - it requires no measuring and you just make it up as you go along.

What you will need

  • Bits and pieces of leftover cotton fabric - very scrappy.

Q&A with patz in suffolk

Riesie asked:
Love the purples. The little fairy in the middle is great.
patz in suffolk answered:
Thank you. The pictures make the colours look a bit bluer than they really are. The fairy was something of an afterthought when I got to the May blocks that seemed to need a picture in the middle.
Linda Cee asked:
This is so pretty!!
patz in suffolk answered:
Thank you! It was very quick to do and I can imagine doing a whole quilt with this block in next to no time!

Thank you. I tried the Dresden Plate block today, but it's a bit of a disaster that I've got to try and rescue!
