Jungle Kaleidescope Quilts

What are you most proud of? That they're really pretty. And that I thought it out ahead of time to have the top and bottom borders going in the correct direction, and the same for the side borders. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take 2 mirrors about 5 inches square and hinge them with tape. When you put it down on your fabric you will see the kaleidescope. You can either cut them out randomly as I did, or you can fussy cut them to get a specific effect.

You Can Make This

gurlfriday made Jungle Kaleidescope Quilts with:

  • I used 100% cotton fabric for top and backing and 80/20 batting. I also used water soluble stabilizer to form the kaleidescope appliques.
