Flip Flop and 1930's Jelly Roll quilts

What are you most proud of? Just the fun colors and how special it was to have sewn each of these quilts with a friend. Quilting and sewing friends are the best! What advice would you give someone starting this project? Just don't be intimidated by the applique. I did mine with the blanket stitch on my Janome Sewing Machine. I also machine quilted....it doesn't have to be perfect....looking at it as a whole will be so satisfying....explore your own creativity with machine quilting. I am having a great adventure with mine. A good teacher is Leah Day you can purchase her classes here on Craftsy!
