Q&A with Christinehuxter

maggiesc asked:
Your work is amazing, how do you finish the edges?
Christinehuxter answered:
Thanks for kind words I did rattail binding to finish them, I am hooked on this now lol
maggiesc asked:
How did you attach it, with serger and which stitch ? Thanks Christine, and you only have to answer once (- ; Wink
Christinehuxter answered:
Lol I don't have a serger I just put it on with a juki overlock stitch no. 7. And hopefully this message will only go on once
maggiesc asked:
Ok, but I guess I could serge, I will have to practice, I am not as good as you at all this yet. I wish I could see a photo with the flap up so I can see how you did the inside. I do plan to copy this to the T if you haven't guessed by now, I have a thank-you gift to make and I was hoping to make it into a cross body shoulder strap purse using Stupendous Stitching. Do you use a couching foot when applying rattail cord. I promise to stop asking so many questions.
Christinehuxter answered:
They are lined with a differen material, I would upload another photo but not sure how to do this, I just used a normal zigzag foot.
