Endless Curves

What are you most proud of? That I actually started it in January and totally finished it in February!!! I am so bad about finishing things that I am delighted that my New Year's resolution has not yet been broken! :) What advice would you give someone starting this project? With Susan Cleveland's book, Piping Hot Curves this and many other Piping Quilts can be made.....the curves ( or Macaroni's as she calls them) are actually sewn on top of the block, making them a snap to do!

You Can Make This

Enchante made Endless Curves with:

  • Used a pattern in Susan Cleveland's book which was offered in a local class.

Q&A with Enchante

Enchante asked:
Thank you Bonheur, it was great fun to do. I am wondering if this would look well in a more mixed color pallet? It is hard for me to picture it that way. :)
Enchante answered:
Honestly, I stuck very close to the class colors because I had trouble visualizing it any other way. It would be a good one to color out on paper to see what might be another option.
GRITS3404631 asked:
What size cord did you use for the piping?
Enchante answered:
This piping is quite small, the smallest I have seen. It comes on a roll - it has no size measurement on the spool- but here is the information it does have. I am guessing it is about a scant 1/8 " - from www.PiecesBeWithYou.com 100 yards - Piping Cording, it also says Piping Hot Binding and Piping Hot Curves. These are two books I have and this piping technique is demonstrated by Susan Cleveland - I got the piping on her website. I hope this helps.
