great improvisation, super cute! Circles are my nemesis too, I ended up getting a circular attachment, it is a miracle perfect circle ever time, if they have one for your machine I would highly recommend it, you could probably even make one yourself its really just a pin that helps the fabric pivot with the feed dogs instead of going strait. Happy quilting:)

Thank you Elisa, I didn't know such a thing even existed, I'll certainly look into it. I know that there's a foot for piecing curves like the Drunkards Path block, but over here in the UK, all the rulers, templates and feet are super-expensive, we don't have a Jo-ann's or Michael's and no great vouchers either (weeps silently into keyboard) so I wouldn't buy that unless I knew I was going to be doing a lot of curved piecing. I will though be looking seriously at the circle foot, I could not believe how difficult it was, it seemed perfect at the sewn stage, but when I turned it inside out? flamin' disaster, lol, mind you I LOVE that elastic so maybe it's a quilting 'Happy' accident.
