Project Description

What are you most proud of? That I'm going to fearlessly try new technics, (thanks to Amy), and have challenged myself to try and quilt this on my home machine...thanks to the encouragement of Leah! What advice would you give someone starting this project? It's a joy! The teachers are amazing, talented, and give wonderful instruction. Give it a try. An experienced sewer can take it to their level, someone just beginning to sew or quilt will have excellent instruction, and can use skills learned in all of their sewing. Since it's the end of the year, and if you have time, watch the entire class, then you will have a better idea on fabric choices. Look at the pictures of quilts posted by others and you will find that you can be very creative and make the quilt personal to your style.

What you will need

  • Fat quarters = Westminster Fibers Garden Divas by jane Sassaman for Spirit Spirit
  • (I'm afraid that I have cut off the selvidge edge on the other fabrics)...and some dotted solid fabrics from my stash

Everything looks great--wonderful fabric choices too!

Thank you, I hope they all go together at the end . I don't know if all the fabrics were from the same line. I bought them in a bundle, but there was no info on the fabrics! We'll see!.
