What are you most proud of? The fact that I am learnig to make blocks that I wouldn't have tried if not for these classes. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Watch the videos as many times as you need. They are entertaining to watch even if you aren't ready to make your blocks yet. You can also go back to a lesson anytime as a refresher when you use a particular skill for another quilt. I think it helps to have some kind of design wall if you can. I bought a cheap flannel-back table cloth and stapled on a wall outside my sewing room (shown in picture). I would like to find a white or mostly white one someday because the stripes show through this one, but It still works great as a place to store my blocks and I add to it each month for block of month quilts. I love walking by it and seeing my blocks every day. I also use it for arranging my blocks for other quilts tops when I'm ready to put them together.
