Coneflower I

Project Description

What are you most proud of? I challenged myself to try something completely different to achieve a result that will serve me well as I continue my art quilting journey. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Try to keep the bulk of the glued under edge to a quarter edge on your pieces. Some of my edges were a little bulky because I didn't quite get it to a quarter inch when I was trimming my pieces. I used an old stitch remover for mainpulating the glued edges. I used the point to poke or pull the fabric flaps up if there was too much distortion or glue. I used the flat side to smooth the folded edges. I used the rounded end as a brayer as I put the pieces together. Once assembled, I let the glue dry overnight. I had no difficulty sliding the Deco Bond underneath to pin it together.

What you will need
