Coffee wall hanging

What are you most proud of? That I did all the outlining with invisible thread and I think it turned out nicely. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Patience as it took a long time to outline every thing. Some times a lot of stopping and restarting in another place.

You Can Make This

jbduker made Coffee wall hanging with:

  • Found the coffee panel material at a local quilt shop. Decided to cut the 6 blocks out and put borders around them. I stitched around to outline inside the blocks. With some free motion around outside border with stitch in the ditch around the blocks.

jbduker answered:
I found this panel at a quilt store and the coordinating material that goes with it. The writing on the selvage says Java b Deb strain for moda of Modafabrics.com You could try and see if you could find it on line or at a quilt store. Thanks for liking it, I have it hanging on my wall and it makes me want a fresh cup of coffee every time I look at it.
MrsEdwards asked:
Thank you so much. I will definitely look for it. I love how you cut the panels and bordered them. Just beautiful
jbduker answered:
I hope you are able to find this material. There are several different bolts in this design and I think the colors complement each other well. Happy hunting.
