Project Description

What are you most proud of? I did it! Amy did a very nice job teaching me this technic...I enjoyed it... What advice would you give someone starting this project? Pre perforate your four sections...turn them over and lay out your fabrics on the individual sections...then turn the block over and write the type of material you will use in that section on the printed side (the side you will be sewing on. Be sure to cut your fabrics large enough to cover the area that needs to be covered.

What you will need

  • Cotton fabric

Q&A with ChristmasEv

Pam NZ asked:
What a pretty block! Have you decided how you are going to put your quilt together? No pressure LOL, but I can't wait to see!
ChristmasEv answered:
Thank you so much. I recommended that people per perforate their block an Chen turn it over and then place their fabrics on the paper pieces..then they will know how the blocks will lay out. Since the layout is backwards on the printed side of the paper, if you use the printed side it reverses the block..I tried to make a rainbow color way, and it did not quite work out because I did not turn the paper pieces over and then lay out the fabric...but, I'm happy with my block and am excited to put the quilt together. It's been quite a learning experience! I'lm putting it together as Amy did with the white sashing...thank you for your kind words.
